Szaflary Centrum is an operational railway stop (passenger stop), not a typical station with extensive infrastructure. It was renamed from its former name, Szaflary Wieś, and officially renamed on December 10, 2023, at the request of the commune’s mayor. The stop, known as Szaflary Wieś, opened on December 1, 1906. This name remained in effect until 2023. Except during World War II, when Germans first changed the spelling without Polish characters, and in 1941, changed the name to Szaflary Dorf. The stop is located on LK No. 99 Chabówka – Zakopane, specifically between the Szaflary and Bańska Niżna stations. The stop is at km 28 of the route. In 2022, during the renovation of the Nowy Targ – Zakopane route, the stop was renovated. The stop has one platform and one platform edge. The platform is 200 m long and 4 m wide. The platform is accessible to people with limited mobility. Currently (2025), the station building is not in use.
In 2022, the stop served up to 150 passengers daily. On August 13, 2025, 34 passenger trains departed from the stop. They served the following stations: Kraków Główny, Nowy Targ, Rabka-Zdrój, and Zakopane. All trains were operated by PolRegio.
