The Pesa Acatus II type 32WE, designated the EN77 series, is a standard-gauge, four-car, low-floor Electric Multiple Unit (EMU), manufactured by the Pesa Bydgoszcz plant in Poland.

The train has four cars in the following configuration: a shunting-engine car, a trailer car, a trailer car, and a shunting-engine car. The first and last cars have driver’s cabs and one set of doors. The middle cars have two sets of doors on each side. The axle configuration is Bo’2’2’2’Bo’. The train has 180 + 13 (folding) seats. The train can accommodate up to 350 passengers with a occupancy of 3 people per square meter. The maximum speed is 160 km/h.

Małopolskie Railways (Małopolska Voivodeship Marshal’s Office) has purchased five EMUs of this type. They received the following designations: EN77-001 (32WE-001), EN77-002 (32WE-002), EN77-003 (32WE-003), EN77-004 (32WE-004), EN77-005 (32WE-005). All were delivered to the user between January and May 2011. Before delivery, the trains underwent tests. The trains were painted yellow, white, and red. Yellow fronts. White sides with a red stripe. In 2017, the trains were repainted yellow, gray, and blue. In 2021, the trains underwent level P4 repairs at ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki. During the repairs, the interior was modernized. The seat upholstery was changed. The trains can be found on all SKM routes.

EN77‑004 (type 32WE “Acatus II”) consists of four wagons bearing the markings: EVN: 94 51 2 140 051-5 (PL-KMAL), EVN: 94 51 2 140 052-3 (PL-KMAL), EVN: 94 51 2 140 053-1 (PL-KMAL), EVN: 94 51 2 140 054-9 (PL-KMAL). Production year 2011. Manufacturer Pesa Bydgoszcz (Poland). Type 32WE, EN77 series. Five EMUs were built for Małopolska, with numbers from EN77-001 to EN77-005. Axle configuration Bo’ 2’ 2’ 2’ Bo’. Total length: 75,250 m. Width: 2,880 m. Height: 4,280 m. Design speed: 160 km/h. Power supply: 3 kV DC. Seating capacity: approximately 180 + additional foldable seats. Partially low-floor, adapted to platforms with a height of ~550/760 mm. Unit EN77-004 is one of five ordered by the Małopolska Voivodeship as part of a regional rolling stock modernization program. It was primarily operated by a regional carrier (initially Przewozy Regionalne, later Koleje Małopolskie). The unit is designed for metropolitan, regional, and interregional traffic.

The train was commissioned on March 25, 2011, in yellow, white, and red colors. In April 2016, ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki repaired the P4 level. In 2017, ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki changed the train’s livery to yellow, gray, and blue. In September 2021, ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki completed a rail repair of the P4 level. In June 2023, the train was wrapped in the “Railway ABC” livery.
