PKP Train InterCity „Cracovia” EC114 Przemyśl – Praga.
The PKP InterCity EC114 Przemyśl-Prague train is one of the international trains running on Polish tracks. Plans to launch this connection emerged with the new 2020/2021 timetable, according to statements from PKP InterCity management and Czech carriers. In fact, the trains were launched in August 2021. The outbreak of war in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, confirmed the rationale behind launching this connection. Trains in Poland have EP09 locomotives, while those in the Czech Republic have Siemens Vectron locomotives. The trains run daily, but depending on demand, they have fewer or more Class 2 carriages. Initially, some of the carriages were Polish and some Czech. Currently (2024), all carriages are Czech.
The PKP Intercity EC114 Cracovia train departs from Przemyśl Główny at 8:15 AM. Travel time: 9 hours and 21 minutes. Distance: 703 km. Ticket prices vary depending on the promotion: Class 2 – 115 PLN, Class 1 – 152 PLN. Train composition: First carriage, No. 351, 1st class, non-compartment, bistro car, equipped with WiFi and 230V sockets, car type ARmpee 832. Second carriage, No. 350, 2nd class, transports oversized luggage, especially bicycles; reservations are required for bicycles or passengers with bicycles. This carriage is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with a separate door and a platform lift. WiFi and 230V sockets are available. Car type Bbdgmee 236. Some carriages have reserved seats, others do not. There are spaces for bicycles with mandatory reservations. There are special compartments for families with small children up to 10 years old, and special spaces for wheelchair users. There are toilets in each carriage. All carriages are air-conditioned. The carriages come in two paint schemes.
